Locavore Food, Music & Arts Festival was established in 2013 to promote local music and other community ventures in and around the town of Waldoboro. Our mission is to showcase our very talented and diverse local community: Maine-based musicians, artists, crafters and food enthusiasts. Now in it’s 4th season, the colloquial name of “Locavore Music Fest” has stuck, becoming the common name for the festival among the fans and musicians in the State. One day a year, the festival grounds fill with all ages as they reunite with old and new friends and share their enthusiasm for live music.
Locavore Music Fest is held at Cider Hill Farm, in Waldoboro, Maine. Cider Hill Farm is a 20-acre events center nestled in the village that is experiencing a revival of sorts. The outdoor venue is the permanent home to the Waldoboro Farmer’s Market, an 18-hole frisbee golf course and the annual River Festival hosted by the Medomak Valley Land Trust. The Farm is also available for rustic Maine weddings, reunions, and other private functions.
